About this experience

Three Hour taster for all abilities including absolute beginners! - HANDBUILDING
In this fun introductory session, you will learn one of the hand-building techniques called slab building and have a go at making your own ceramic garland/wall hanging.
There is a maximum of 8 people who attend each class. You will be able to start learning the introductory techniques of hand-building with clay and have a go at making your own form after having watched the teacher demonstrate the process to you. During our session, you will design your wall hanging piece on paper first then roll out your slab of clay and cut out the forms which will make up your garland. You will then be able to paint and decorate each piece of your garland.

Price includes all materials used in the session.
We will fire and glaze your garland for you in transparent glaze. Your piece will be ready usually within three weeks, but sometimes longer depending on firing schedules. You will be notified by email when your piece is ready.
A welcome email with further instructions about what to expect before your class is sent around a week before your class commences. This email will be sent to the email provided at booking.
