Children can enjoy a fun pottery wheel class at Pottery Studio LDN in North Greenwich.

Our Kids Pottery Wheel Class lasts 1.5 hours and is the perfect introduction to the magical world of clay. Designed for children ages 9-14 years, this fun and engaging class teaches young potters how to shape, mould, and create beautiful pottery using a real pottery wheel. Guided by friendly, experienced instructors, kids will learn the basics of wheel throwing—from centering clay to forming bowls, cups, and other creative shapes.

PLEASE NOTE: An adult must accompany children at all times.

Each session includes hands-on instruction, creative freedom, and plenty of encouragement. Your child will gain confidence, improve motor skills, and take home unique, glazed ceramic pieces they’ll be proud to display!

What’s Included:

Step-by-step instruction on the pottery wheel

All clay, tools, glazes, and kiln firing

Your favourite pot, fired and glazed is included in the price. Any extra pots you want to keep costs £5 per pot.

Pottery pieces will be ready to collect up to 6 weeks later

A fun, safe, and supportive environment with small classes

Whether your child is new to pottery or ready to spin their skills to the next level, this class is a fantastic way to spark creativity and have fun!

PLEASE NOTE: From 14 days prior, your course is non-refundable. We are a small pottery studio and our courses run at capacity. Teachers and materials are organised in advance for the number of booked participants. We may be able to reschedule, so please email us.
