Two Hour workshop for all abilities including absolute beginners!
In this fun introductory session, you will get familiar with one of the basics of hand-building: the pinching technique.
You will learn what it is like to have a go at making a trio of “urchin” vessels. There is a maximum of 8 people who attend each class. You will be able to start learning the introductory techniques of hand-building with clay and have a go at making your own form after having watched the teacher demonstrate the process to you. We will first pinch our three vessels, and then work on transforming them into little urchins, adding and sculpting clay as well as carving our vessels. Come and let your creativity free in a supportive and friendly environment!
Price includes all materials used in the session.
We will fire and glaze your vessels for you in the glaze of your choice.
